Coconut Berry Fusion Recipe

  • Blender
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen; e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • ¾ cup unsweetened coconut milk (from a can or carton)
  • ½ cup coconut water (or plain water for a milder flavor)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (juice of about ½ lime)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 cup ce cubes (optional for a chilled smoothie)
  1. Prepare Ingredients:Wash the berries (if fresh) and measure the coconut milk, coconut water, and lime juice.
  2. Blend the Smoothie:Add the berries, coconut milk, coconut water, lime juice, and chia seeds (if using) to a blender. For a chilled smoothie, add the ice cubes.
  3. Blend to Perfection: Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more coconut water a tablespoon at a time to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and Adjust:Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness with a touch of honey or agave syrup if needed.
  5. Serve:Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately. Garnish with fresh berries, a sprinkle of shredded coconut, or a lime wedge for an extra tropical flair.
  • Frozen Berries: Using frozen berries eliminates the need for ice cubes and results in a thicker, colder smoothie.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.
  • Sweetness: This smoothie is naturally tangy; sweeten as needed with honey, maple syrup, or stevia.
